Configuration and Activation

In order to use Paystack as a payment gateway, charging cards or mobile credit, you need to sign up at: https://dashboard.paystack.com/#/login.

Once you get your account, you will be able to complete the information to activate your “Live” account.

To obtain the “Secret Key” to enter in the “Currency and Payment Systems” panel, press “Settings” at the bottom left. Then click “API Keys & Webhooks” on the page that appears.

At this point, display the “Test Secret Key” or/and the “Secret Key”, then copy and paste them into the “Currency and Payment Systems” > “Paystack”.

To complete the configuration, in the “Webhook URL” and “Test Webhook URL” fields, enter the following URL: https://DomainName/payments/paystack (Instead of DomainName, enter the domain name assigned to the Wi5stars) in order to receive notifications for payments.

You can now test the integration from the Welcome Portal by registering a new user.

The prerequisites for this payment gateway are:

• In the domain, In the “Data to Customize Users Registration” > “Request the Email”, select “Yes”.
• The supported currencies are: NGN, GHS, ZAR and USD.
